All vessels in the Galápagos Islands operate a variety of itineraries approved by the Galápagos National Park, trying to provide alternatives to ease the pressure on the local wildlife at the 14 most popular visiting sites in the archipelago, by redistributing visitor numbers across more sites. The visiting system in the national park allows for a maximum of three itineraries within a 14-night period, during which time no visitor site can be repeated – apart from the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island, which may be visited twice.

We have given here a list of some Galapagos catamarans, yachts and cruises that can be booked through us with different agencies operating on the Galapagos islands. A visit to the Galapagos islands can form part of a roundtrip through Peru and/or Ecuador integrating cultural visits and explore the Amazon rainforest, with at the end a Galapagos excursion of 4 or 5 days up to an expedition of 7 - 8 days or more.

For all departure data, availability, prices and how you can integrate your Galapagos adventure with a tailor made Latin American holiday feel free to Contact us. There are many possibilities and options that can be discussed. We offer Galapagos excursions as stand alone excursions, or integrated with a tailormade roundtravel through Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Brasil, Cuba, Colombia, Panama, Chile with Easter island and/or Argentina.

Note also that it is possible to book a relative short 4 - 5 day cruise tour and stay 2 nights at Santa Cruz island and have a day excursion from the island before flying back to Quito or Guayaguil.

All three expedition vessels have obtained the SMART VOYAGER certificate, this is a Latin American Sustainability Certification that incorporates community involvement, best environmental practices, and continuous improvement.

" After two years of research, Smart Voyager was introduced in May 2000. Today, five of the 20 large tour vessels – described as floating hotels – that travel through the Galapagos have been evaluated and certified as eco- friendly and socially responsible through the Smart Voyager program. All five certified tour vessels have made tangible changes that include the use of lead-free and TBT-free paint , the implementation of waste disposal systems, the production of fresh water with a desalinization plant on board, the careful management of fuels and improved conditions for workers. From 20th January 2012, the upscale Yacht La Pinta, with capacity for 48 guests, will operate three separate itineraries according to the following schedule: “Western Galápagos” for a full week, 8 days/7 nights, Friday to Friday, beginning in Baltra Island and ending in San Cristóbal Island; “Eastern Galápagos” 4 days/3 nights, Friday to Monday, beginning in San Cristóbal and ending in Baltra; “Northern Galápagos” 5 days/4 nights, Monday to Friday, beginning and ending in Baltra.

From the same date, the classic, 40-guest Yacht Isabela II will begin its new itineraries, offering one full-week and two 5-day/4-night journeys: “Northern Galápagos” 7 days/6 nights, Tuesday to Monday, beginning at San Cristóbal Island and ending in Baltra; “Central Galápagos” 5 days/4 nights, Monday to Friday, beginning and ending in Baltra; “Southern Galápagos” 5 days/4 nights, Friday to Tuesday, beginning in Baltra and ending in San Cristóbal.

The 90-guest M/V Santa Cruz will benefit from three great new itineraries of two 5-night and one 4-night: “Eastern Galápagos” 6 days/5 nights, Friday to Wednesday beginning in San Cristóbal Island and ending at Baltra Island; “Western Galápagos” 6 days/5 nights, Wednesday to Monday, beginning at Baltra and ending at Baltra; “Northern Galápagos” 5 days/4 nights, Monday to Friday, beginning in Baltra and ending at San Cristóbal Island.

Each vessel’s itineraries can be combined, joining two geographic areas together and thereby providing a more complete vision of the archipelago’s history, geology and wildlife.
